The second ArgEnTango national tournament takes the dream further

In its second edition as a national tour, the project ArgEnTango – Piazzolla, an authentic story will reach Cluj Napoca, Sinaia, Ploieşti, Iaşi and Timişoara. The five concerts will take place between April 19 and 27, 2017 and feature the same powerful Argentine triplet, formed by Analia Selis (vocals), Mariano Castro (piano) and Omar Massa (bandoneon), who are joined by two Romanian musicians of immense value, Răzvan Suma (cello) and Rafael Butaru (violin). The arrangements were made by Mariano Castro especially for this project.

Last spring, Argentango launched as a unique project in Romania and filled the halls in all the concerts presented in the first edition. Since then, the artists have been invited to perform 10 more concerts throughout the country.

Analia Selis declared at the end of the last tournament: “It was all very beautiful. Tiring, but very beautiful. That's what I'mshine, beauty. We have had great success everywhere. They are open people. However, we sing a rather demanding repertoire, the songs are in Spanish, but the Romanian audience always receives very well what we offer. The audience resonated very well with the tango. The Romanian audience feels this music, and that is the most important thing".

The Romanian-Argentine quintet now has the experience of dozens of concerts together, so the new recitals ArgEnTango – Piazzolla, an authentic story are already shaping up to be very successful events.
