Analia Selis and ArgEnTango bring traditional Argentine tango to Pele CastleAND
Peleș Castle Music Hall HOSTS Saturday, June 2, 2018, from 4 p.m., a unique sound event: Analia Selis, together with the other members of the ArgEnTango group: cellist Răzvan Suma, pianist Mariano Castro, bandoneonist Omar Massa and violinist Rafael Butaru, propose to the public an encounter with traditional Argentine tango. The event is included in the The Sound of Music Season, an event organized by the Peleș National Museum and the Union of Interpretive Creation of Musicians from Romania.
In continuation of the national tours "Piazzolla, a true story" editions I and II, and the "Tango la Cetate" project, ArgEnTango continues the desire to promote the TANGO style, sung in a traditional, authentic manner and at the highest artistic level.
"I am happy to return to the stage and continue the beautiful story of tango, together with the other members of ArgEnTango. With the Traditional show we aimed to establish a bridge between traditional Argentine and Romanian tango. Thus, the audience will be able to listen to traditional tangos by Carlos Gardel, Alfredo Le Pera, Sebastian Piana, orchestrated as a unitary sound for this quintet, along with some famous pieces from the Romanian tango repertoire.” (Analia Selis)
