The Peleș National Museum and the US Embassy in Romania are organizing the extraordinary concert performed by the "Barbarossa Winds" quintet on Saturday, September 4, 2021, at 4:00 PM.
"Barbarossa Winds" is the wind quintet of the US Army Europe (Germany) Orchestra and Choir, ambassadors of American music on the European continent. The extraordinary concert held in the Peleș Castle Concert Hall will feature compositions by American and German musicians, a tribute to the role of the US Army in Europe and Africa, as well as to the host country, Germany.
The program will include works by George Gershwin, Ennio Morricone, Amy Beach, August Klughartdt and Anton Reicha.
Access to the room is by invitation, within the limit of available seats, and in compliance with health safety regulations.
