Traditional Scouts Association (ACT-RO) in partnership with the Peleș National Museum is organizing the conference “The Contribution of the Royal House of Romania to the Development of Scouting” on Saturday, May 11, 2024. The event marks the 10th anniversary of Adventure Education® by traditional scouts.

The first scout patrols appeared in Sinaia in 1913. The Romanian Scout Association (ACR) was founded a year later, operating until 1937, during which time it was under the High Patronage of the Royal House of Romania. The conference will review the moments of glory, but also the dramatic periods that scouting went through in those years.
