Eliodora Falan graduated from the National University of Music in Bucharest, piano department, in 2008, and from the Rotterdam Conservatory "CODARTS".

Her activity as a soloist began before university, continuing during her studies in Romania and the Netherlands.

Her experience has embraced music for solo piano, chamber and orchestral music with authors from the pre-classical period to contemporary ones. Founder and coordinator of the educational project "Romanian Musical Thoughts", with the aim of disseminating and knowing Romanian classical music, Romanian contemporary music occupying a special place, with a joy and dedication for the works of the Romanian musical school.

Carmen Petra-Basacopol – author of over 152 symphonic, vocal-symphonic, solo and chamber music, choral, theater and ballet music, opera Child's heart and Apostle Bologa, musicological writings L'originalite de la musique roumaine: a travers des 6uvres de chambre et de scaene d'Enesco, Jora et Constantinesco – doctoral thesis carried out at the prestigious Sorbonne University in Paris.

The composer's interest in folklore is primarily for the spiritual value of popular creations: the unlimited tendency of specific sound, melodic, rhythmic processes. Creators of sound images, of stories, her pieces present a well-defined architectural structure that supports the richness of the themes; it is a modal music that contributes essentially to Romanian musical literature.
