Poetry and music festival at Peles Castle

At Sinaia, a new edition of the The “Sound of Music” season, organized by the Union of Interpretive Creation of Musicians from Romania and the Peleș National Museum.

This way, For the ninth consecutive year, locals and tourists from the Prahova Valley are offered a unique cultural attraction.

Saturday, March 25, 2016, from 4 p.m., in Peles Castle Music Hall, you are invited to an exceptional event, which will evoke two great personalities of Romanian culture: Tudor Arghezi and Dinu Lipatti, the event being marked by the commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the poet's passing and the 100th anniversary of the birth of the great pianist and composer.

From Arghezian lyrics he will recite actress Adriana Titiani, and creations by Dinu Lipatti, as well as well-known works from the famous pianist's repertoire, will be performed by two certainties of the young generation of servants of the keyboard instrument,pianists: Andra Demidov and Andreea Moisescu Cicireagă, two musicians, who have won numerous awards at national and international competitions, concerts with important orchestras in Romania, recitals on stages in the country and abroad.

"The Sound of Music" Season will mediate 10 meetings between great music and lovers of the art of sound. The recitals at Peleş Castle, an architectural jewel, a Romanian cultural, historical and aesthetic symbol – will take place between March and October 2017, and among the guests are: Trio Energico from Hungary, Analia Selis, cellist Răzvan Suma, specialist in the interpretation of Renaissance and Baroque music Nicolae Szekely or the laureates of the 7th edition of the “Road to Fame” Competition at the Mogoşoaia Palace.
