Works by classical and romantic composers, as well as songs inspired by Romanian and European folklore, will be performed. Saturday, July 28, from 4:00 p.m., in PeleÈ™ Castle Concert HallA true marathon of the young generation of Romanian and foreign musicians, passionate about classical guitar and flute, will take place in the impressive Concert Hall inaugurated in 1906 at the request of Queen Elisabeth.
The concert is part of The "Sound of Music" season, and the program is also included in ICon Arts Transylvania Festival.

Exceptional young instrumentalists from Romania, Germany, South Korea, participants in the guitar masterclass in Biertan, within the ICon Arts Academy, 16th ed., coordinated by three European personalities: Costin Soare, Reinbert Evers (Germany) and Andras Csaki (Hungary), as well as participants in the master class held by the flautist Ioana Turcu, an artist with extensive concert and research experience in international programs. At the piano will be Verona Maier, artist noted for her impressive career on important stages in the country and abroad.
The program will include works by: Francisco Tárrega, Frank Martin, Manuel Maria Ponce, William Walton, performed by young guitarists: Emil Filipescu, Jiho Ban (South Korea), Julian Richter (Germany), Ioan Bănescu, as well as by: Vasile Jianu, George Enescu, Grigoras Dinicu, Louis Ganné, performed by flutists: Ilinca Nicolae, Daria Cristescu, Ioana Irimescu, Giulia Apetrei, Cosmin Cioca, Costin Săndulescu.
The Sinaia Recital is organized by the PeleÈ™ National Museum and the Union of Interpretive Creation of Musicians in Romania through the "Opportunities at Home" program dedicated to exceptional young musicians who thus find real opportunities to assert themselves here, at home, on stages in Romania.
