{"id":8761,"date":"2024-10-08T11:59:12","date_gmt":"2024-10-08T11:59:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pelestest.thepoint-agency.com\/sunetul-muzicii-de-la-bach-la-beatles\/"},"modified":"2024-12-19T09:48:56","modified_gmt":"2024-12-19T07:48:56","slug":"sunetul-muzicii-de-la-bach-la-beatles","status":"publish","type":"eveniment","link":"https:\/\/thewebdevpoint.com\/en\/eveniment\/sunetul-muzicii-de-la-bach-la-beatles\/","title":{"rendered":"The Sound of Music \u2013 From Bach to the Beatles"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>From Bach to the Beatles\u2026at Pele\u0219 Castle <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Saturday, June 24, 2017, from 4 p.m.<\/strong>, <strong>guitarist Costin Soare<\/strong>, currently on a national tour <strong>&quot;From Bach to the Beatles&quot;<\/strong>, will give a recital at the <strong>The Sound of Music Season<\/strong>&quot;, event organized at <strong>Peles Castle<\/strong> by the Union of Interpretive Creation of Musicians from Romania and the Pele\u0219 National Museum.<\/p>\n<p>In the Music Hall of Pele\u015f Castle, Costin Soare proposes a musical journey that starts from the dances of <strong><em>Bach&#039;s Lute Suite in A minor (transcribed for guitar) <\/em><\/strong>and, following the thread of the instrument&#039;s history, arrives at the stylistic diversity of the 20th century: two arrangements after <strong><em>Yesterday<\/em><\/strong> and <strong><em>MICHEL<\/em> <\/strong>of the famous band <em>The Beatles<\/em>, made by the most important Japanese composer of the 20th century, Toru Takemitsu; one of the most beautiful pieces written for guitar, an original work with a strong oriental flavor, a ballad composed by the Italian Carlo Domeniconi: <strong><em>Koyunbaba<\/em><\/strong>; a South American song<em>, <strong>Alfonsina and the sea<\/strong>, <\/em>composed by Ariel Ramirez; an arrangement of the famous jazz song <strong><em>&quot;A night in Tunisia&quot;<\/em><\/strong>, made by the great French guitarist Roland Dyens.<\/p>\n<p>Access is by invitation, which can be obtained by writing to: <strong>peles.ro@gmail.com<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Costin Soare <\/em><\/strong><em>is one of the most appreciated and active Romanian artists, happily combining a beautiful concert career (guitarist and lutenist) with a pedagogical one (professor at the &quot;Dinu Lipatti&quot; National Academy of Music, Bucharest and associate professor at the National University of Music), being also the artistic director of the &quot;Serile de chitara&quot; International Festival. With an experience of 3 national tours to his credit, a CD released in 2014 (Nocturnes and dances) and another in 2017 (Twenty Shades of Music, together with the flautist Ion Bogdan \u015etef\u0103nescu), permanent member of two chamber ensembles (flute-guitar, with Ion Bogdan \u015etef\u0103nescu and voice-guitar, with the mezzo-soprano Claudia Codreanu), the guitarist <\/em><em>Costin Soare is a tireless promoter of high-quality classical music through an instrument whose intimate voice and repertoire are appreciated by the general public.
