Sur l&#039;initiative d&#039;Oscar Sp\u00e4the, son professeur de sculpture, Maria accepta avec enthousiasme la pr\u00e9sidence d&#039;honneur de la Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 de la \u00ab Jeunesse Artistique \u00bb (1901-1947). Elle se lan\u00e7a ainsi dans une entreprise courageuse qui la captivera toute sa vie. Par son prestige personnel et son engagement actif, Maria contribua \u00e0 la \u00ab prosp\u00e9rit\u00e9 des beaux-arts en Roumanie \u00bb, objectif d\u00e9clar\u00e9 de la Soci\u00e9t\u00e9. Peintre de talent, cr\u00e9atrice de jardins, grande connaisseuse du ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne Arta 1900, cr\u00e9atrice de meubles originaux et d\u00e9coratrice d&#039;int\u00e9rieur inspir\u00e9e, Maria contribua \u00e0 la reconnaissance internationale du ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne culturel roumain.<\/p>\n<p>Fond\u00e9e le 3 d\u00e9cembre 1901 par un groupe d&#039;artistes, \u00ab\u00a0Tinerimea\u00a0\u00bb fut la cr\u00e9ation artistique la plus durable et la plus coh\u00e9rente de Roumanie dans la premi\u00e8re moiti\u00e9 du XXe si\u00e8cle.
