Ea aduce \u00een aten\u0163ia publicului larg p\u00e2nze reprezentative din galeria de c\u00f3pii, care reflect\u0103 afinit\u0103\u0163ile artistice ale creatorului pinacotecii regale. P\u00e2n\u0103 la 29 septembrie anul curent, v\u0103 invit\u0103m \u00eentr-o c\u0103l\u0103torie imaginar\u0103 \u00een universul istoriei picturii europene, ilustr\u00e2nd fiecare mare curent din Quatrocento p\u00e2n\u0103 \u00een epoca rococo-ului, adic\u0103 patru secole de art\u0103, prin intermediul a \u015faisprezece lucr\u0103ri etalate \u00een s\u0103lile de expozi\u0163ie ale castelului Pele\u015f. Expozi\u0163ia dispune de un amplu catalog, cu reproduceri color ale celor mai valoroase lucr\u0103ri.<\/div><br \/><div>Din fericire, dup\u0103 inventarul anului 1948, c\u00f3piile au r\u0103mas la Sinaia, lucru care a facilitat cercetarea lor. Astfel, colec\u0163ia a fost tematic \u00eemp\u0103r\u0163it\u0103 \u00een dou\u0103 categorii: c\u00f3piile dup\u0103 marii mae\u015ftri, reprezent\u00e2nd portrete, scene religioase, scene de gen \u015fi peisaje \u015fi Galeria de str\u0103mo\u015fi ai Regelui compus\u0103 din c\u00f3pii dup\u0103 lucr\u0103ri originale p\u0103strate, \u00een general, \u00een castelul de la Sigmaringen. Copiile de la Pele\u015f au fost realizate \u00een intervalul 1880-1910, dup\u0103 lucr\u0103ri celebre ale marii picturi din \u015fcolile olandez\u0103, flamand\u0103, german\u0103, italian\u0103 etc, conservate \u00een c\u00e2teva dintre cele mai importante muzee ale Europei: Alte Pinakothek, M\u00fcnchen; Gem\u00e4ldegalerie, Dresda; Castelul Sigmaringen; Kunsthistorisches Museum, Viena; Mus\u00e9e du Louvre, Paris etc. Comenzile au fost adresate de c\u0103tre Rege at\u00e2t unor arti\u015fti str\u0103ini (germani, cu prec\u0103dere), c\u00e2t \u015fi unor bursieri rom\u00e2ni, precum Otilia Michail-Otetele\u015fanu sau Gheorghe B\u0103l\u0103nescu. Cei mai solicita\u0163i copi\u015fti au fost Gustav Bregenzer, pictorul de curte de la Sigmaringen, Maximilian von Schneidt, curatorul colec\u0163iei regale de pictur\u0103, Charles F\u00e9lu, pictorul f\u0103r\u0103 bra\u0163e, Letizia Witzleben, fiica Baronesei von Witzleben, doamn\u0103 de onoare a Reginei Elisabeta \u015fi Eugen Ritter-Gotha, poate cel mai talentat dintre copi\u0219ti etc.<\/div><br \/><div>Ve\u021bi descoperi astfel lucr\u0103ri care apar\u0163in goticului interna\u0163ional \u015fi \u00eenceputului Rena\u015fterii, mai precis, c\u00f3pii dup\u0103 p\u00e2nze celebre pictate \u00een secolele XIV-XV de Rogier van der Weyden, Maestrul vie\u0163ii Mariei, Albrecht D\u00fcrer \u015fi G\u00e9rard David. Pentru \u00eent\u00eeia oar\u0103,aducem \u00een aten\u021bia marelui public o p\u00e2nz\u0103 special\u0103, copie a italianului Giovanni Barezzi, dup\u0103 una dintre cele mai frumoase crea\u0163ii ale lui Rafael, ,,Logodna Fecioarei\u201d. Preferin\u0163ele suveranului \u00een materie de curente merg f\u0103r\u0103 \u00eendoial\u0103 c\u0103tre barocul flamand \u015fi olandez. Prin titanii acestui curent artistic, Rubens, van Dyck \u015fi Rembrandt, ca \u015fi prin discipolii lor, Cornelis de Vos, Willem Drost \u015fi Ferdinand Bol, Regele Carol I \u00ee\u015fi manifest\u0103 adeziunea fa\u0163\u0103 de o epoc\u0103 marcat\u0103 de str\u0103lucire regal\u0103 \u015fi elegan\u0163\u0103 aristocratic\u0103. \u00cen sf\u00e2r\u015fit, gusturile regale \u00een materie de peisagistic\u0103 \u015fi scene de gen sunt ilustrate printr-o copie dup\u0103 Wouwermann, unul dintre cei mai \u00eenzestra\u0163i peisagi\u015fti ai epocii de aur a picturii olandeze \u015fi printr-o scen\u0103 de teatru din seria ,,serb\u0103rilor galante\u201d, dup\u0103 Lancret.<\/div><br \/><div>Rafinat cunosc\u0103tor al artelor plastice, Maximilian von Schneidt (1858-1927), a executat la cererea suveranului Rom\u00e2niei Mici c\u00f3pii dup\u0103 Rogier van der Weyden, Meister des Marienlebens, Barthel Beham, Ti\u021bian, van Dyck, Cornelis de Vos \u0219i Wouwermann. De asemenea, Regele Carol I i-a \u00eencredin\u021bat reproducerea p\u00e2n\u0103 \u00een cele mai mici detalii a portretului anonim al lui Carl-Anton de Hohenzollern-Sigmaringen. La \u00eenceputul secolului al XX-lea, Maximilian von Schneidt accede \u00een Galeria preferat\u0103 a Regelui Carol I, la Alte Pinakothek din M\u00fcnchen, unde copiaz\u0103 trei dintre p\u00e2nzele lui Rubens, ,,Rubens \u0219i Isabella Brandt sub bolta de caprifoi\u201d(1609-1610),,,Ghirland\u0103 de fructe\u201d(1615-1617) \u0219i ,,Portretul Alatheiei Talbot, contes\u0103 de Arundel, cu suita\u201d.<\/div><br \/><div>Capodoper\u0103 a celui mai mare pictor flamand, ,,Alatheia Talbot, contes\u0103 de Arundel, cu suita\u201d a st\u00e2rnit interesul comanditarului \u00eenc\u0103 din adolescen\u021b\u0103. Este binecunosct faptul c\u0103 \u00een jurul v\u00e2rstei de dou\u0103zeci de ani, principele Carol de Hohenzollern-Sigmaringen a frecventat Universitatea din Bonn din pasiune pentru artele frumoase. Galeria regal\u0103 din M\u00fcnchen i-a servit drept instrument formator \u0219i l-a inspirat \u00een alegerile artistice ulterioare. Copistul german \u00ee\u0219i achit\u0103 onorabil partea de contract, iar p\u00e2nzele sale sunt etalate \u00een interioarele fastuoasei re\u0219edin\u021be de var\u0103.<\/div><br \/><div>\u00centr-o compozi\u021bie atipic\u0103, Rubens imortalizeaz\u0103 pe p\u00e2nz\u0103 una dintre figurile de seam\u0103 ale Cur\u0163ii regale engleze a secolului al XVII-lea. Alatheia Talbot (1585-1654), fiica contelui de Shrewsbury \u0219i na\u0219a Reginei Elisabeta I, c\u0103reia i-a \u00eemprumutat unul dintre prenume, a fost so\u021bia lui Thomas Howard, al XXI-leaconte de Arundel, duce de Norfolk, diplomat influent la Curtea regilor James I \u0219i Carol I Stuart \u0219i pasionat colec\u021bionar. A avut o existen\u021b\u0103 remarcabil\u0103, marcat\u0103 de c\u0103l\u0103torii interminabile, curmate brusc de moartea prematur\u0103 a so\u021bului \u0219i de un r\u0103zboi juridic nemilos \u00eempotriva propriilor odrasle. La Arundel House, pe care o r\u0103scump\u0103r\u0103 prin interven\u021bii inteligente pe l\u00e2ng\u0103 Casa regal\u0103, pune bazele unei adev\u0103rate cur\u021bi, unde organizeaz\u0103 baluri opulente \u0219i se \u00eenconjoar\u0103 de marile personalit\u0103\u021bi ale epocii. Asemenea unei suverane, contesa de Arundel cheltuie\u0219te o avere pentru a etala un lux exorbitant. La moartea so\u021bului s\u0103u, mo\u0219tene\u0219te nu numai o avere enorm\u0103, ci \u0219i datorii pe m\u0103sur\u0103, pe care le ignor\u0103 pur \u0219i simplu. Deranjat de fastul con\u021bilor Arundel, de prosperitatea castelului lor de pe r\u00e2ul Arun, din West Sussex, \u00eenconjurat de ziduri de nep\u0103truns, de splendide gr\u0103dini italiene \u0219i de aten\u021bia \u00eentregii aristocra\u021bii, Regele Carol I Stuart \u00eei \u021bine departe de Londra.<\/div><br \/><div>Dar familia care a dat Angliei un sf\u00e2nt \u00een persoana lui Philipp Howard, martirizat pentru credin\u021ba lui \u00een secolul al XVI-lea, doi cardinali \u0219i dou\u0103 regine (pe Anne Boleyn \u0219i Catherine Howard, so\u021bii ale lui Henric al VIII-lea Tudor), nu se cramponeaz\u0103 de aprecierea unei singure suveranit\u0103\u021bi. Adev\u0103ra\u021bi glob-trotter-i, so\u021bii Arundel \u00eemp\u0103rt\u0103\u021besc acelea\u0219i pasiuni \u0219i orgolii: pl\u0103cerea de a c\u0103l\u0103tori \u0219i dorin\u021ba de a epata. La 1620, Alatheia locuie\u0219te la Vene\u021bia \u00een apropierea Palatului Dogelui, de la care prime\u0219te g\u0103zduire \u015fi pre\u0163ioase scrisori de recomandare. \u00cen anul 1623, merge \u00een vizit\u0103 la sora Regelui Spaniei, Filip al IV-lea, iar \u00een 1636, la \u00eemp\u0103ratul Ferdinand al II-lea de Habsburg. \u00cen anul 1642, numele con\u0163ilor Arundel apar \u00een lista select\u0103 a invita\u0163ilor la nunta lui Wilhelm al II-lea de Orania.<\/div><br \/><div>Datorit\u0103 pozi\u021biei sale sociale, a tactului \u0219i conversa\u021biei spumoase, de o mare erudi\u021bie, Alatheia \u00eentre\u021bine rela\u021bii cordiale cu mediile \u00een jurul c\u0103rora gravita, aristocra\u021bia \u0219i arti\u0219tii deopotriv\u0103. Cei dint\u00eei \u00eei caut\u0103 prezen\u021ba, cei din urm\u0103 o transform\u0103 \u00eentr-o muz\u0103. \u00cen pinacoteca con\u021bilor Arundel figureaz\u0103 mai multe portrete pictate de Cornelius Johnson, Anton van Dyck \u0219i Rubens. \u00centr-un dublu portret realizat pe la 1646 de Anton van Dyck, cei doi so\u021bi sunt reprezenta\u021bi \u00een costume de aparat, cu hlamide, paruri \u0219i colane, ca ni\u0219te adev\u0103ra\u021bi suverani, scrut\u00e2nd cu temeritate viitorul, \u00een timp ce imensul glob p\u0103m\u00e2ntesc indic\u0103 Madagascarul. De aceast\u0103 insul\u0103 \u00eendep\u0103rtat\u0103 se leag\u0103 speran\u0163ele urma\u015filor str\u0103vechii familii Norfolk \u00een momentele critice ale existen\u0163ei lor nes\u0103buite. La dispari\u0163ia contelui, inventarul familiei num\u0103ra nu mai pu\u0163in de 600 de p\u00e2nze, semnate de D\u00fcrer, Holbein, Rafael, Ti\u0163ian, Bruegel, Rembrandt, Rubens, van Dyck, 200 de statui, 500 de schi\u0163e, mai multe propriet\u0103\u0163i, dar \u015fi o datorie de o sut\u0103 de mii de lire.<\/div><br \/><div>Intrigan\u0163i notorii, so\u0163ii Arundel sunt implica\u0163i \u00een scandaluri diplomatice, \u00een uneltiri contra dinastiei Stuart, fa\u0163\u0103 de care manifest\u0103 un nedisimulat dispre\u0163. Schi\u0163a portretului contesei \u00eens\u0103 nu ar fi veridic\u0103 dac\u0103 nu am men\u0163iona aici \u015fi impulsivele ei momente de misticism, \u00een care implora papei recluziunea \u00eentr-o m\u0103n\u0103stire catolic\u0103. \u00cen anul 1641, la \u00eenceputul R\u0103zboiului Civil, se retrage \u00een Olanda, unde \u00ee\u015fi g\u0103se\u015fte sf\u00e2r\u015fitul \u00een 1654, la v\u00e2rsta de 69 de ani, ostracizat\u0103 de urma\u015fi \u015fi h\u0103ituit\u0103 de creditori.<\/div><br \/><div>Portretul de la Alte Pinakothek, realizat \u00een anul 1620 de c\u0103tre Rubens imortalizeaz\u0103 o Alatheia aflat\u0103 la apogeul existen\u0163ei sale. Pictat \u00een scurtul popas la Antwerp al c\u0103l\u0103toriei spre Italia, tabloul trebuia s\u0103 surprind\u0103 prin precizia execu\u0163iei \u015fi prin dimensiuni cu adev\u0103rat impresionante (originalul are 270 cm pe 260 cm !). Nedispun\u00e2nd de o p\u00e2nz\u0103 at\u00e2t de mare, artistul a preferat s\u0103 picteze fiecare personaj \u00een parte, insist\u00e2nd, desigur, asupra Alatheiei. Astfel, \u00eentr-o compozi\u0163ie pe orizontal\u0103, contesa apare \u00een mijlocul suitei, asemenea unei suverane, \u00eenconjurat\u0103 de bufonul \u015fi piticul Robin, care poart\u0103 pe m\u00e2n\u0103 \u015foimul. A\u015fezat\u0103 pe un jil\u0163 impozant, \u00een rochie neagr\u0103 ampl\u0103, cu m\u00e2neci bufante \u015fi man\u015fete din dantel\u0103, cu diadem\u0103 pe cap \u015fi sigiliul familiei la g\u00e2t, Alatheia atinge u\u015for c\u00e2inele de v\u00e2n\u0103toare.<\/div><br \/><div>De-a lungul secolelor, identitatea personajului masculin din dreapta prim-planului a n\u0103scut dezbateri furtunoase. Ipotezele penduleaz\u0103 \u00eentre Francesco Vercellini, secretarul italian al familiei, Sir Dudley Carleton, diplomat englez la Haga \u015fi chiar contele Arundel. Datorit\u0103 cercet\u0103rilor moderne, criticii de art\u0103 au concluzionat c\u0103 portretul cavalerului a fost ad\u0103ugat mai t\u00e2rziu. Suita a fost amplasat\u0103 de autor \u00een fa\u0163a coloanelor torsadate ale loggiei, \u00eentre care a fost desf\u0103\u015furat stindardul Casei de Arundel, brodat cu deviza \u00een latin\u0103: ,,SOLA VIRTUS INVICTA\u201d. \u00cen plan secund, artistul a reprezentat silueta castelului familiei con\u0163ilor Arundel.
