I-a avut profesori pe Anca Borina (\u015ecoala de muzic\u0103 nr. 4) \u015fi Constantin Ni\u0163u (Liceul &#8222;Dinu Lipatti&#8221; 1987 &#8211; 1990 \u015fi Liceul &#8222;George Enescu&#8221; 1990 &#8211; 1994). A sus\u0163inut recitaluri pe diferite scene: Universitatea de Muzic\u0103 Luxemburg, Sala Studio a Ateneului Rom\u00e2n Bucure\u015fti, Muzeul Na\u0163ional George Enescu, Muzeul de Art\u0103 din Constan\u0163a, Palatul Mogo\u015foaia, Castelul Pele\u015f, Sala Radio \u015f.a. Lucian Velciu a participat la programul de perfec\u0163ionare din cadrul Colegiului Pro (1998-2001) \u015fi la un curs de var\u0103 (iulie 2002) sus\u0163inut \u00een Luxemburg de pianista Dana Protopopescu. Pianistul a c\u00e2\u015ftigat laurii unor competi\u0163ii de gen: premiul al II-lea la Concursul interna\u0163ional de pian Carl Filtsch Sibiu &#8211; edi\u0163ia 1997, Premiul I \u015fi Marele Premiu la Concursul Pro Piano \u2013 2001, Bucure\u015fti. Prezen\u0163a pe podiumul de concert a \u00eenceput din perioada studiilor universitare c\u00e2nd a sus\u0163inut diferite recitaluri.
