The collection of over 800 artistic stained glass windows is an integral part of the decoration of the Peleș Castle, but also of the other buildings that form the architectural complex on the Royal Domain of Sinaia. The majority of the collection consists of pieces ordered by King Charles I from the companies FXZettler from Munich and Zwölfer from Vienna.
