ANA ANTONIA TUDOSE was born on June 5, 2001 and is currently a student at the "Carmen Sylva" Art College in Ploieşti, in the 11th grade. At the age of seven, she entered high school as a first grade student, unraveling the mysteries of the piano year after year, under the guidance of Professor Anca-Florentina Borcea and, for more than two years, under the guidance of the renowned Romanian pianist Daniel Goiți.
She stands out from the first years of her studies, being the laureate of numerous national competitions, by winning the first prize, several editions in a row: the "Marţian Negrea" competition, the "Paul Constantinescu" national competition for musical interpretation and creation, the "Margareta Sterian" national competition for instrumental interpretation Buzău, the "Ionel Perlea" competition Slobozia, the "Brave Claviaturi" competition Bucharest, the Piano Art competition, Ploiesti. Confirmations of her value were, in particular, obtaining the Grand Trophy of the "Margareta Sterian" national competition for instrumental interpretation, Buzău, 2014 edition, the Trophy of the "Ionel Perlea" Competition, Slobozia, 2014 edition, but also the Grand Prize of the Piano Interpretation Competition, Piano Art Ploiesti 2014.
One of the pianist's most important projects so far is the development of a recital program, in collaboration with the Romanian Cultural Institute, in order to promote Romanian music and the value of the piano school in Romania; on September 5, 2014, Antonia gave a recital at the Romanian Cultural Institute in New York, a recital that enjoyed a real success, a fact reflected both in the Romanian press and in one of the Romanian diaspora newspapers in New York. A consequence of this success was the invitation of Antonia by the Romanian Cultural Institute in Paris, on Romanian Culture Day, to give a recital on January 15, 2015, during 2016, followed by two other recitals of this kind, in Budapest and Vienna, during 2017.
The most important step in his soloist activity, however, remains the recital held on the stage of the Small Hall of the Romanian Athenaeum, as part of the Chamber Season of the "George Enescu" Philharmonic in Bucharest, section "Young Talents Season" 2015-2016.
In 2018, Antonia performed Concerto No. 1, Op. 11 in E minor by Fr. Chopin, both with the Paul Constantinescu Philharmonic Orchestra from Ploiesti, conductor Panagiotis Diamantis (Greece), and with the Sibiu Philharmonic Orchestra, conductor Alexandru Mija.
In the recommendation given to the young pianist for a scholarship, the renowned pianist Viniciu Moroianu said about Ana Antonia, "as a performance pianist, she stood out as a top of her generation. I have followed her artistic evolution, in recent years, in national competitions, where she distinguished herself through efficiency on stage and self-control, in the most demanding repertoires. She is a young artist with precious potential, with the will and power to work hard and orderly. In addition, she possesses that all-important desire for improvement, self-improvement, and diversification of musical characters. She has accumulated experience and an already important track record in competitions, concerts with the orchestra and recitals. For all this, I believe that Antonia deserves to be supported in the career she has chosen, justifying bold hopes."
